River guide Eric Peoples saved my friends and I after barely getting out of the woods before nightfall. He gave us a ride about 6 miles to the car and wouldn't even take payment for it. Without his help we would have ended up lost on the dirt roads all night. I would trust this guy on the river any day.
After booking a night at the lodge and a whitewater rafting trip I was a bit nervous since it was my first time staying at a lodge, and the price was lower than all the other outfitters in the area. However, I was pleasantly surprise by the condition of the room and the service. Ms. Glenda waited for us before closing the office and was very sweet. The next morning we had a great time going whitewater rafting, our guide was not the friendliest guy ever but he was adventurous! Roy, AKA Sarge is definitely a memorable person! Overall, River Rats offer the best value for your money and you'll have a blast!
