This campground is in a nicely wooded area and is very close to several boat ramps into the lake. Each campsite has a grill or fire ring with metal grate over it to cook. There is also a gas station less than 10 miles away toward Benton. Will absolutely be back!

I I'm 41 years old started camping here with my grandparents when I was a kid. Then it was called Greasy Creak campground. They have the best paved circle where kids can ride bikes and all spots are shady and spread out. I camp all over but this will always be my favorite. I am here again for July 4th week 2017. 11 months after first review. The bad news is new campground host. The have been the worst I have ever dealt with bathroom's are not clean say they don't have time. In all my years camping here I have never experienced anything like this. If hosts aren't replaced will not be camping here again. Very sad.

First off the campground is ok at best. It seems like it would be a quiet place to camp. But unless you like being harassed by Tn Rangers then this is not for you. I've camped all over the US, and by far this is the most patrolled place I've ever seen. Which wouldn't be that bad if they weren't so nazi like. First off the two different "rangers" at 9 o'clock at night were fairly reasonable human beings. Apparently they despise car camping like you wouldn't believe. And they didn't like how I was "parked" in my site. I was in a very nice newer 4runner just to say. Not like I was in a ragged out rapist van. But the next morning at 8am sharp the next shift was on duty. After I was told that night everything was fine, this little Hitler came storming up losing his mind. Yelling saying if I didn't move he would start writing tickets. After I very politely told him his same organization was there that night and said everything was fine, he cut me off and yelled "move it now"!! So we had a few choice words and packed up and left. Not before he went across to the adjacent campsite and woke them up yelling at them for no reason. So I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. It's a total joke. Save your money and the embarrassment.

The creek sites are wonderful. Very clean. You can always hear cars on the highway but it's not busy just kind of a bummer.

What a Beautiful site to see. Driving around this lake is quite beautiful. I have yet to stop for more than a photo but definitely looks to be worth the stop/ stay
